Handler of the Month

For over twenty years, US K9 Unlimited has provided thousands of quality dogs to law enforcement and government agencies around the world.  Our unique ability to match a great dog with the proper handler is what makes us specialists in assembling the ideal team.  This page is dedicated to our successful teams who are out in the field on a daily basis keeping their communities safe.  This is an open invitation to any handler who has been through our training program to be spotlighted as handler of the month.  Please submit a photograph and story behind any illegal activity that was stopped or of any acts of heroism. If you do not have a photograph, we still want you to send us information on the amount of narcotics apprehended by your K9 so that we can add it to our statistics.

Danny McWilliams

My name is Danny McWilliams, and I am a K-9 handler with the Baytown Police Department. My department purchased a German Shepherd named "Fideaux" from USK9 in April of 2010. After completing my five week handler course we certified through NNDDA the Monday after coming back from USK9. Since this time we have had 28 narcotics deployments. Through these deployments we have been involved in the seizure of approx. 27 1/4 lbs of marijuana, 1 ounce of methamphetamine, 1 gram of cocaine and approx. $11,460.00 in cash. I would like to thank the USK9 staff for providing excellent training and continued assistance when needed. USK9 has provided an asset to our department and city through by providing an excellent product.
